We support the mission of the ACSM to improve health and fitness by utilizing the science of exercise and sports medicine. Our academic institutions are first rate and diverse including all areas of Exercise Science and Sports Medicine. The Greater New York Region is a center of media and business and has a key role in the translation of scientific knowledge to the public. As you see, there are many areas for increased participation. We welcome students, researchers and clinicians, including all the multiple facets of exercise and sports medicine; physiologists, podiatrists, chiropractors, dieticians and physicians. Please join us in our mission to improve health thru activity.

The Greater New York Regional Chapter American College of Sports MedicineAnnounces a full day seminar on:
- Return to Sport Following Surgery
- Exercise Science - Personal Training: Basic Science and Practical Application
- Sports Podiatry track
- Nutritional track – Food, Supplements, Steroids - What are Athletes Taking
The event will be held Saturday, November 10, 2012 from 8AM – 5PM at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine & The Foot Center of New York located at 53 East 124th StreetNew York, NY 10035. More information to come in second quarter of 2012.
